Sounds of Nature/Concert - 11.09.2010 - 6.30 p.m.
The concert is one out of ten, performed at attractive and charming places in the area, which convey the feeling that music is a harmonic part of nature. www.tv-fdz.de gives information on all dates and places of this series of concerts, organized by the tourist association Fischland-Darss-Zingst. This open-air concert of classical music will take place on the High Shore (Hohes Ufer) between Wustrow and Ahrenshoop.
Fishermen's Regatta in Althagen - 18.09.2010 - from 10 p.m.
Brown sails characterize the scene in the harbour of Althagen and on the Bodden (inland water) of Saal at this weekend. Every year the final regatta of the "Zeesboote", a special kind of boat, takes place at the third weekend of September in the harbour of Althagen.
Literary Days - 30.09. to 03.10.2010
The fair for publishers in Mecklenburg-Pomerania takes place in Ahrenshoop. On this occasion there are readings by the authors put in their care at restaurants, galleries and other public places.
Seeing the Old Year Out - 30.12.2010 - 2.30 p.m.
In the afternoon of the last but one day an open-air concert of trumpets says farewell to the old year and tunes for the new one.
Easter Bonfire - 23.04.2011 - 6 p.m.
Easter Saturday there will be several bonfires burning on the peninsula, getting visitors and residents into the mood for the coming spring. Traditionally, in Ahrenshoop the bonfire gets lighted on the High Shore (Hohes Ufer), framed by spring songs.
Children's Party - 04.06.2011 - 2.30 p.m.
Every year, at the first weekend in June, the Ahrenshoop Children's Party takes place in Althagen, part of Ahrenshoop. The party has a more than 50 years' tradition.

Beach Party - 22./23.07.2011 - from 6 p.m.
At the last weekend of July a Carribean atmosphere is brought to the beach of Ahrenshoop with a bar, showdance and matching music.
Ceramists' Meeting - 20. to 30.07.2011 - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In every third ten-day period of each July the family of the creator of the "fishland ceramics", Friedemann Löber, gather in front of the Beach Hall (Strandhalle) to work together.
