Easter Bonfire - 07.04.2012 - 6 p.m.
Easter Saturday there will be several bonfires burning on the peninsula, getting visitors and residents into the mood for the coming spring. Traditionally, in Ahrenshoop the bonfire gets lighted on the High Shore (Hohes Ufer), framed by spring songs.
Children's Party - 02.06.2012 - 2.30 p.m.
Every year, at the first weekend in June, the Ahrenshoop Children's Party takes place in Althagen, part of Ahrenshoop. The party has a more than 50 years' tradition.
Ahrenshoop Jazz Festival 22. to 24.06.2012
This weekend has been an important date in the calendar of an ever increasing number of jazz fans for a long time.
Ton Festival - 15.07.2012 - 3 p.m.
The members of the Ton Alliance Ahrenshoop, Alt- & Niehagen meet on the third Sunday in July for their yearly highlight.
Ceramists' Meeting - 20. to 30.07.2012 - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In every third ten-day period of each July the family of the creator of the "fishland ceramics", Friedemann Löber, gather in front of the Beach Hall (Strandhalle) to work together.
Beach Party - 27./28.07.2012 - from 6 p.m.
At the last weekend of July a Carribean atmosphere is brought to the beach of Ahrenshoop with a bar, showdance and matching music.
Art Auction - 04.08.2012 - from 7 p.m.
The first Saturday of August is auction day at the seaside resort!
Film Nights - 08. to 11.08.2012 - from 8.30 p.m.
Remarkable films get performed on four evenings at the Beach Hall (Strandhalle). Afterwards artists involved in the films (authors, directors, actors) give the opportunity to discuss their work.
Art Night - 18.08.2012 - from 7 p.m.
Until midnight the houses invite to linger and to enjoy various cultural events. Visitors can get an impression of all Ahrenshoop galleries, studios, workshops and other art spaces, joined for this night to demonstrate the particular flair of the artists' village.
Sounds of Nature/Concert - 08.09.2012 - 6.00 p.m.
The concert is one out of ten, performed at attractive and charming places in the area, which convey the feeling that music is a harmonic part of nature. www.tv-fdz.de gives information on all dates and places of this series of concerts, organized by the tourist association Fischland-Darss-Zingst. This open-air concert of classical music will take place on the High Shore (Hohes Ufer) between Wustrow and Ahrenshoop.
