Art Gallery at Schifferberg (Kunsthaus am Schifferberg)
The art gallery at Schifferberg is dedicated to both the traditions of the artists' colony and the growth of the district from classical modern to the development of contemporary art.
In yearly changing exhibitions carefully chosen fine arts are displayed together with the partner institutions. They also exhibit themed and individual exhibitions which complement the exhibition programme. Schifferberg includes works by the artists who established the artists' colony Ahrenshoop, and give the district a living face today. Works are also exhibited by the artists who have characterised the development of classical modern and contemporary styles in Germany and who have interacted with the special regional influence.
